Basketball: WAPDA to take on HEC in final

KARACHI: Defending champions Wapda will take on HEC in the final of the 16th National Women’s Basketball Championship in Islamabad today. Wapda outclassed Punjab in the first semi-final 34-12 as Mehreen Fatima scored eight points and Rubina Kausar managed six. Rizwana Kanwal scored eight out of the 12 points for Punjab. Meanwhile, HEC humbled hosts Islamabad 16-3 in their one-sided last-four clash.
