@Kalchakra
You are just jealous of Bollywood and its prevailing influence on your country. Billionaires like Azim Premji and Yusuf Hamied are leading examples of the equal opportunity India affords all its citizens. In India we are Indians first and then Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Buddhist.
@kaalchakra: For a descendent of Pathan migrants, India treats Aamir khan really well and affords him opportunities, probably far more than he would have ever received in his native Afghanistan.
What a sad state of affairs Muslims of India, once a proud people, have been reduced to - dancing and singing for eking out a living.
A singer and dancer will always remain a servant, never become a master as a free Muslims are in Pakistan. As Shabana Azmi reminded everyone, the poor man can't even buy a house in India. :(
Yes, I am all up for neighborly gestures but why this was necessary to appear in a national newspaper? Amir's singing for his nation has nothing to do with Pakistan.
