Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is known for his perfectionism as he believes in doing everything from his heart. When all big Bollywood stars made their television debut with game and dance reality shows, Khan chose a completely different route when he chose to appear in “Satyameva Jayate” and even delayed his forthcoming films like Talaash and Dhoom 3 for the show, reports Times of India.


The actor who loves to connect with the regular folk thought of something unique that will involve everybody. “The show is for everyone. It’s an effort to understand ourselves, to make our lives better. The show gave me a chance to connect with common people from different states and cities,” he said.

Khan unveiled the theme song for the show “Tera Rang Aisa”, which has been written by Prasoon Joshi and composed by Ram Sampath. It has been shot by Ram Madhwani.

Say no to gameshows

Khan added that he had been offered to host a game show but he chose something closer to his heart. “Television is a powerful medium and I wanted to use it properly. I have taken a route which I understand. I am an entertainer. I am doing things which are close to my heart, things I enjoy the most without compromising with people’s emotions,” stated the actor.

The show will be dubbed in all regional languages and will be telecast on Doordarshan in May. “Satyameva Jayate” will be an hour-long show and will be aired every Sunday at 11 am.

Promos

In one of the show’s promotional videos, a humble-looking Khan is seen sitting cross-legged and contemplating over the chaos on television channels and the range of forgettable programs. In another video, Khan talks about how his show should be such that it can entertain everyone from his mother to his housemaid.

Response

Up till now the masses, especially youngsters, have liked Khan’s promos, but still the show’s concept is cocooned in mystery. The show could a gamechanger and could challenge the popularity of Amitabh Bachchan’s “Kaun Banega Crorepati”.

Amir Khan's family is from Benaras , India. They do not claim any other ancestry. Regarding the surname Khan, there are millions of such surnames even among converted Bengali Muslims in W Bengal. Amir Khan is extremely talented and courageous to take risk and is easily one of the most admired personalities in Indian film industry.

You are just jealous of Bollywood and its prevailing influence on your country. Billionaires like Azim Premji and Yusuf Hamied are leading examples of the equal opportunity India affords all its citizens. In India we are Indians first and then Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Buddhist.
