NOWSHERA: A government-run primary school was blown up by suspected militants in Pabbi area of Nowshera, extensively damaging the building, police said.

So far, three schools have been destroyed in the area in the past week. Militants planted a bomb near the boundary wall of the Khadrazai Primary School, a police official of Pabbi Police Station told The Express Tribune.

“The outer walls collapsed because of the intensity of the explosion, while three rooms were also destroyed,” he said. Police officials said there were no injuries because the school was closed for spring break. Over 700 schools have been destroyed in last five years in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Most of the schools in Peshawar and settled areas that have been targeted are female educational institutions.

Now they can brainwash the deprived children to become suicide bombers. True faith-based education!

Really, do these people understand the importance of education? Islam is not responsible for that, it's mullah and mullah only.
