Twitter alert: The lighter side of Hafiz Saeed's bounty

Today’s top trend in Pakistan was “Hafiz Saeed” following the US announcing a $10 million bounty on the founder of banned group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Comments by local Twitter users were mixed, with some lauding the bounty, while others pointed out issues with the announcement, including questioning the timing of this decision in relation to Pak-US ties and NATO supply routes.

Humor and sarcasm captured the bounty trend, with many jokes going viral online. Here is a collection of just a few.

The ten million offer was a code message to navy seals to get ready for the next mission, this time to Lahore! They better come over with three helicoters this time since they will have to confront Punjab police, not women children and an old sick person.
