NAB authorities further claimed that they have informed Banks and concerned District Coordination Officers (DCOs), District Officers (Revenue) and other concerned authorities for freezing bank accounts of the accused and putting caution on the assets of 12 involved rental power companies.

Sources said that the decision to freeze bank accounts and putting names on the ECL was taken in a meeting held at NAB Headquarters in Islamabad on Monday. Chairman NAB Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari, the Deputy Chairman Javed Qazi, the Director General Operations as well as Special Operations Division Col. I am afraid that based on NAB's prior performance, nothing will come out of this. All accused are well connected in government and billions of rupees in personal accounts. They can literally buy their way out of trouble.

Raja Pervez Ashraf unfortunately has disgraced my family, which he hails from. I am happy his name has been put on ECL and I think he and his croonies should be brought to justice if they have done any harm to national sovereignity in the name of corruption of any kind...........good job NAB
