Power outages: Kot Lakhpat youth protest

LAHORE: As many as 300 members of the Progressive Youth Front (PYF) blocked traffic on the Ferozepur Road at Chungi Amar Sadhu in a protest against disruptive power outages. PYF organiser Murtaza Bajwa said they protested after five hours of continuous outage. He said they had been suffering 12 hours without power every day. He said the Kot Lakhpat SHO had promised them that outages will be reduced to four hours a day.
