Development: Various projects completed in FR Kohat

PESHAWAR: The government has completed various development projects in Frontier Region (FR) Kohat. According to a press release issued by the Fata Secretariat Directorate of Information on Saturday, various sanitation and street pavement projects have been completed in Malik Naib Khan Kali, Syed Amin Kali, Arakhel Payan and Tehsil Jawaki. The schemes will collectively benefit more than 5,500 residents of the area. A 90-metre wall has also been constructed to protect the villages and fertile land, in particular,from floodwater. Seasonal floods would destroy crops, resulting in lossess for farmers. To create a sense of ownership in the community, local workers were hired and a liaison was established with residents to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.
