Old enmity: Land dispute claims three lives

Haji Suhno Jakhrani, his brother Deeno Bux Jakhrani and their cousin Ahmed Ali Jakhrani were attacked.

SUKKUR: Three people were gunned down by armed men allegedly over a land dispute on Thursday, in Ghelpur town, katcha area of Kashmore. According to reports, Haji Suhno Jakhrani, his brother Deeno Bux Jakhrani and their cousin Ahmed Ali Jakhrani were attacked on their way back from work. As they approached the village, a group of armed men opened fire on them and all three were killed on the spot. The assailants fled the scene. The bodies were shifted to the Kashmore taluka hospital. People from the area claimed that the triple murder was the result of an old enmity, between  the Jakhrani community’s two groups, over a piece of land.
