Roadside blast: Four schoolchildren injured in Peshawar

The police said that the bomb was planted in a push cart and was parked on the roadside.

PESHAWAR: Four schoolchildren were injured in a roadside bomb blast here on Wednesday morning. The incident took place in Ghari Naib Khan on Kohat Road. The police said that the bomb was planted in a push cart and was parked on the roadside. Locals handed over a suspect, Noor Muhammad Gul, to the police, Claiming that gul had a remote control device in his possession. However, the police say that the man was caught after the blast, as he was running away from the scene, without any substantial evidence of him being a terrorist.

authorities need to do something to stop the production of explosive material specially IEDs.

With the support of European Union (EU), a special system is going to be introduced in KPK through which robots will be used to locate and deactivate IEDs.
