LAHORE:

The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought replies from the federal and provincial governments and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) director general till March 15 on a petition seeking stay order against flight of training aircraft over the residential areas.

However, the court turned down the request for imposing an immediate ban on all such flights, observing that a stay order could not be granted without hearing the respondents. Advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry contends that the flights over residential areas have caused loss of life and property.
