The dispute started outside the madrassa where, according to police sources, it escalated when the FC’s Mohammad Khurshid called in an FC mobile with other personnel in it and they opened fire.
The clergyman, Mohammad Rehman, 25, was killed in the attack, while one of the injured, Shaukat succumbed to his injuries at the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre.
The remaining injured were identified as Ali Zaman, Sher Jan and Zarwali Khan were injured as a result of the firing. They were shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre.
After the incident, the madrassa students and other members of the public went to the Quaidabad police station to protest. They surrounded the police station and started hurling rocks at it, but the mob was warded off by the police.
Four members of the FC, including Mohammad Khurshid, have been detained by the police for interrogation but no case has been registered against them yet.

FC is a badmaash organization. It kills where it wants and when it wants. It kidnaps people. It tortures people. It dumps them after killing them. Stupid FC!
@Lobster: May be they named the killed men as militant
Madressa officials must have shown some 'badmashi' to provocate the FC men to such an extent. We have not heard the full story yet. Let's not solely blame the FC prematurely.
Reporter told the whole incident but never mentioned what was the reason of dispute that lead to the shooting. The madarsaa students and FC both are not angels; we all know it, so dont make it appear like FC is killing people indiscrimately..
@M. Ahmed: The FC are professionals. I would say we should all hold back on opinions until details come out. I have a feeling the FC men did their job and the madrassa types are the ones who caused the problem first.
There could be one or two bad apples in FC, but overall its one of the most prestigious force of the country. Hundreds of its Jawans and officers have laid down their lives in protecting us from terrorists and other criminals. We should honour their bravery and ultimate sacrifces. They are our best. One incident should not wipe out their great services.
There has to be a reason behind it. I always get disappointed to see when the MEDIA does not cover the reason/issues behind any incident. FC or any security agency personnel can't open fire without any solid grouds. as per newton's law, for any action, there is always an equal reaction. Unfortunately, Media only highlights the REACTION.. please share the details of ACTION as well to get the clear picture. Dear Tribune, please share the details of other side of the picture as well of this store or else everybody will started cursing secutiry personnels.
FC now stands for freaking corps....they should be disbanded immediately. Call in the Rangers!
FC is a burden on the tax payers of Sindh. Another FC killer. Remember the FC killer in Clifton. FC go home! We do not need you. Instead of bringing peace through enforcement of law and order, FC has committed illegal acts.
Killing at the slightest provocation has penetrated the Pakistani society in all spheres. There is strong need to teach moderation. I wonder if meditation is practiced in Pakistan? If not, please try seriously. It helps a great deal in moderating a person.
I hope Mr. S . Mirza will do the followup and will let us know what was dispute about,- never the less, who gave fc men license to kill ?.
What is wrong in this city?. Why are people being shot and killed by law enforcement personnel.
Let there please be peace in this city.
Show the other side of the picture too
Now times have changed, FC has to understand the power of new media! Killing fellow citizens can not be tolerated, they must be tried for murders-
Army men are allowed to kill anyone! No question asked. May be rewarded as well
A detailed investigation must be carried out at a very high level . It must be a independent judiciary.!
