‘In Maritime Interests’: 24 Indian fishermen nabbed by PMSA

According to PMSA officials, maritime agency was maintaining strict surveillance of Pakistan’s exclusive economic zone

KARACHI: The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) arrested 24 Indian fishermen and seized their boats on Monday for fishing within the country’s economic zone waters. According to PMSA officials, the maritime agency was maintaining strict surveillance of Pakistan’s exclusive economic zone to safeguard the maritime interests. During a routine patrol, the 24 Indian fishermen were arrested and their three boats were seized by PMSA units well within Pakistani waters.
