Right of way: Court summons DSP, SHO

The officials have been summoned in a contempt petition – for not following orders passed by a civil court.

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday summoned to court the Raiwind DSP and Raiwind city SHO on March 7. The officials have been summoned in a contempt petition – for not following orders passed by a civil court. Petitioner Chaudhry Irfan submitted that he owned a property bordering on I-Con Valley. He said he had approached a civil court for gaining right of way through the society to reach his property and the plea was granted. He said that when he tried to go through the I-Con Valley to visit his property the DSP and SHO lodged a trespass FIR against him and others who had accompanied him. He submitted that the officials’ action was in violation of the civil court order.
