Pakistan’s contracted players are set to get a pay boost when the new central contracts list is announced next month for 2012, said the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad.
The official said the increases were a result of the team’s good performances over the past 12 months but the revised amounts were yet to be decided. “A committee is finalising details but the board also agrees that pay scales in the new contracts need to be increased.” Ahmed added that the list would be announced early next month.
