@Amjad: Can we agree to disagree?
This is indeed a great news for Punjab region. Heartiest congratulations to the owners of Mega Pharma. Culprits should be caught and punished soon. Agreed with the above comments, Sindh CM is and should be considered liable.
@salim: Within one country, they do not inspect medicines in different provinces. Do you think that medicines manufactures in Texas are inspected again in California? I don't know what world you live in but the CM of Sind and the Health Minister of Sind is more responsible for the tragedy because they are in power where the pharma factory is that manufactured the bad drugs.
@Amjad: No quality control mechanism in place by Punjab Govt. Where were drug inspectors of Punjab Govt? Had the drugs been tested in the local market for one year as required? Was purchase procedure strictly followed? Khadim-e-Alla has to answer lots of questions but there is silence!
It goes to show that the contaminated medicines were made in Karachi by the Efroze Company and not in Punjab. Why doesn't the Sind CM and his government apologize for the tragedy they committed up country?
