Employees who were promoted from group four to five in the hierarchy were not interviewed and assessed.

Over 200 employees of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) hold fake credentials and have been promoted to higher posts in the organisation, Express News reported on Wednesday.

According to Express News, a few employees who said that they hold a Master's degree in Business Administration could not produce any legitimate proof of their qualification and only had their result cards with them.

Certain employees had degrees of universities black-listed by the high court.

Employees who were promoted from group four to five in the hierarchy were not even interviewed and assessed.

However, PIA Spokesperson Sultan Hassan maintained that the credentials are investigated and verified, and if in case any employee produces fake certificates, they are fired immediately.

There was a story recently that Indian pilot's were faking their flight hours.

At least these are not pilot's in the cockpit.
