Graffiti: Five arrested on blasphemy allegations

Abid Hussain, Mohammad Hussain, Tasawar Hussain, Asghar Abbas and Mirza Hussain were brought to Karachi and arrested.

Five men were arrested on Tuesday evening for allegedly using offensive language against the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in Kotri.


According to the on-duty officer, Mohammad Ashraf, the men wrote derogatory remarks on the walls of six bogies of Sukkur Express when it was at Kotri.

Abid Hussain, Mohammad Hussain, Tasawar Hussain, Asghar Abbas and Mirza Hussain were brought to Karachi and arrested. According to the police, a score of members of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat gathered at Cantt Station and staged a sit-in. The Cantt police will handed the men over to the Kotri police.
