Police arrests three robbers in Landhi, girl dies in crossfire

Police arrested three robbers including a female after a shootout in the Landhi area of Karachi in which an eight-year-old girl also died in the crossfire.

According to Landhi SP Zafar Iqbal, a four-member gang of robbers entered a house in the Babar Market area of Landhi and held the residents at gun point. Meanwhile, the neighbours phoned the police.

After half an hour of firing, the police succeeded in arresting three of the robbers, while the fourth one fled. One of the arrested robbers received a bullet. The culprits were beaten by the mob while being escorted out of the area.
