Democracy: Memogate termed a conspiracy
Establishment against democratic institutions to cover up the failures of military establishment in the recent past.
The memogate issue is a conspiracy orchestrated by the establishment against democratic institutions to cover up the failures of military establishment in the recent past, said a statement issued by the Awami Party Pakistan (APP) on Sunday. The establishment is being helped by inept and corrupt politicians in creating the present political upheaval and the present rulers have pushed Pakistan to a brink of disaster, creating acute shortage of electricity and gas and rendering millions of people unemployed, said the statement. The Pakistani establishment has conspired against the people on several occasions by imposing martial laws and removing democratically elected governments. Now the oligarchy is bent upon removing the duly elected government, unconstitutionally, and with the tacit support of judiciary on the pretext of an “anonymous memo” The party is of the opinion that the rule of elites needs to be replaced by the rule of people to thwart such conspiracies.

@curious1: Military won't care as long as they can make fool of foolish. If Pakistan reduces to Punjab and Sindh our military will be stronger, less people to make them fools.
I fully endorse that the Military is conspiring to make democratically elected Government as scapegoat along with Judiciary and PML N (the plaintiffs). Asma Jehangir has to fight three forces to get her client out of Goliath's claws. The president has immunity and does not have to answer or indulge himself into this trap and second most important thing is that even if this conspiracy succeeds due to this click, the President can pardon Husain Haqqani and if The Army or ISI and Judiciary does not accept it, it will come out clear that it is a conspiracy to bring a 'puppet' Government (a treason)That can make another Bangladesh in West Pakistan but military will be reduced to a smaller colony of their own to govern like Burma.
