Checking Up: President Zardari phones Pagara

President Zardari inquired about Pagara’s health after he was admitted to Aga Khan Hospital.

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagara late Saturday night. Sources in the party told The Express Tribune that President Zardari inquired about Pagara’s health after he was admitted to Aga Khan Hospital. Sources further said that during the conversation President Zardari told Pagara that he would personally go meet him at Kingri House upon his return to Karachi. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah also returned from Dubai after his brief meeting with the president. Talking to the media at the Karachi airport he said that President Zardati is “fine” now and would return soon.
