Tennis: I’ll take more care in 2012, says Clijsters

“Now, I’ll be listening to my body much better,” says Clijsters.

ANTWERP: Kim Clijsters will take greater care over her scheduling in 2012 after an injury in August ended her season prematurely. Clijsters suffered an abdominal strain in Toronto, which ruled her out of the US Open. She then pulled out of events in Rome and Madrid and was also forced to skip Wimbledon because of a foot injury. “The start of 2011 was really good but after that I made some decisions I no longer would make,” said Clijsters. “Now, I’ll be listening to my body much better.”
