LAHORE: The committee formed by the Punjab government to devise a strategy to counter promotion of Hindu culture through cartoon channels has told the chief minister that it could not make any recommendations because PEMRA is the relevant authority to deal with such issues. “We are not authorised to do so,” the report said. The government had formed a committee led by Senator Pervez Rashid a while ago.
