Europe tour: Former AJK minister addresses rally

Minister said that Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with UN resolutions and in democratic way.

ISLAMABAD: Former AJK prime minister and Central PPP (Azad Kashmir) leader Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary said his recent tour to the US and European countries to highlight the Kashmir issue “came at the right time”. He expressed these views while addressing a big rally in Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Chaudhary said that the Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions and in a democratic way.  Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK Wajid Shamsul Hassan, the lord mayor of Birmingham and PPP leaders also addressed the public rally.  Britain’s first Muslim Kashmiri member of parliament Shabana Mehmood urged Chaudhary to continue his struggle for Kashmir’s independence struggle.
