Planning: ‘Ambulance need a code of conduct’

KARACHI: There is a dire need for a code of conduct for ambulance services in the city, Karachi Commissioner Roshan Ali Sheikh told Edhi, Chhipa, al Khidmat and Aman Foundation representatives at a meeting on Saturday. The commissioner said that ambulance drivers should not use their sirens unless neccessary and ambulance services should stay in contact with the commissioner’s office control room in case of an emergency. He asked deputy commissioners to put together the code with the help of ambulance services.
