Football: PTV crush Railways in PFFL

KARACHI: PTV thrashed Railways 3-0 in their Pakistan Football Federation League (PFFL) clash yesterday. After a goal-less first half, PTV's Hazrat Hussain scored the opening goal in the 74th minute, while Razaullah added two more goals in the 82nd and 90th minute to seal the victory. Meanwhile, University FC Faisalabad got the better of Young Blood FC, defeating their opponents 3-1. Faisalabad's Muhammad Rahat opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and then doubled the lead five minutes later. Usman Manzoor added a third goal for Faisalabad in the 71st minute to effectively kill of the tie, before Young Blood scored a consolation goal. In another PFFL match, Mecca Floor Mills played out a 0-0 draw with ZTBL. Meanwhile, a Pakistan Premier Football League game between Army and Police also ended goal-less.
