Prime Minister approves promotions

On recommendations made by the Central Selection Board.

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on the recommendations of the Central Selection Board, approved the promotions of a number of senior bureaucrats.

These officers belong to the Foreign Services, Information Groups, Intelligence Bureau, Military Lands and Cantonment, Audit and Accounts Service.

In the Foreign Service, Sajjad Kamran Shaukat Ali Muqaddam, Abdul Hamid, Ghalib Iqbal and Amjad Hussain B Sial have been promoted from BS- 20 to BS-21 and Zahid Ali, Dr Khalid Hussain Memon, Sardar Shuja Alam, Babar Amin, Ahmed Hussain Dayo and Imtiaz Ahmad Qazi have been promoted from BS-19 to BS-20.

Meanwhile, four officers of Information Group, Talat Waseem, Azizur Rehman Gondal, Mobashrah Nighat Bajwa and Muhammad Khalid Sarwar have been promoted from BS- 20 to BS-21.

The PM also approved promotion of four officers of Intelligence Bureau, Kafeel Ahmed, Waheeda Bano, Iffat Zahoor and Nafees Macci, from Deputy Directors Generals (BS-20) to Joint Directors General (BS-21). Five Directors of BS-19, Abdul Rahim, Amjad Javaid Bajwa, Khurram Aslam Khan, Ahmed Rizwan and Naveed Elahi, have been promoted to Deputy Director General (BS-20).

Two officers of Military land and Cantonment Group, Raja Faqirullah and Muhammad Shafi, have been promoted from BS-20 to BS-21 and Zeenat Ahmad has been promoted from BS-19 to BS-20.

Twelve officers of Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service, Ghulam Hasnain Bokhari, Parveen Agha, Manak Sher Idrees Tarar, Muhammad Aslam, Najibullah Khan, Asif Ali, Shabbir Ahmad, Farhad Khan, Shujafta Khanum, Faqir Riaz Asif, Hussain Saqib and Zafar Hasan Reza have been promoted from BS-20 to BS-21.

Twenty-one officers of Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service, Shaffat Rasool Khan, Mahmood Ahmad Khan Raja, Muhammad Ismail Langha, Farzand Ali Adil, Muhammad Siddique, Shahid Saleem, Mazhar Hussain, Zafarullah Khan Soomro, Sheeren Akhtar, Mustafa Kamal, Muhammad Asif Khan, Azhar Hameed, Sajid Ali Nadeem, Muhammad Nasir Ali, Masood Akhtar Sherwanee, Manzoor Akhtar Malik, Fareed Mahmood Ch, Shahid Nadeem Raja, Javed Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Memon and Muhammad Asaf Khan, have been promoted from BS-19 to BS-20.

Thirty-three officers of Inland Revenue Service, Seema Majid, Rafique Ahmad Soomro, Ahmad Saeed Siddiqui, Lubna Farrukh Mirza, Ali Akbar Depar, Dr Ikram Ghani, Sheraz Mirza, Ali Hasnain, Salim Raza Asif, Tariq Mahmood Pasha, Manzoor Hussain Shad, Tasneem Rehman, Basharat Ahmad Qureshi, Ejaz Asad Rasool, Hafiz Muhammad Ali Indhar, Muhammad Asif, Shaukat Mahmood, Agha Hidayatullah, Nausheen Javaid Amjad and others.
