Result: PML-N candidate wins Sahiwal by-poll

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Khizar Hayat Khagga won the by-election for PP-220 Sahiwal seat.

SAHIWAL: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Khizar Hayat Khagga won the by-election for PP-220 Sahiwal seat here on Thursday. According to unofficial results, Khagga secured 40,185 votes, while the joint candidate of PML-Quaid and Pakistan Peoples Party Muzaffar Khagga received 20,703 votes. Both candidates are the nephews of the late Pir Ahmed Shah Khagga.
