President Zardari responded by asserting that the two countries’ decision “to honour the agreement within the framework of their obligations towards non-proliferation was a demonstration of the strength of their relationship”.

He said during the visit, the fifth undertaken by the president since assuming office, China pledged to provide a 50-million-yuan grant to Pakistan for new projects. Besides the two countries signed an agreement on economic and technical cooperation and four MoUs in the fields of health, geological survey, and agriculture.

What WMD's are included in this Civilian Nuclear Deal ?? I thought this deal was related to energy sector rather than Defence !! Can anybody enlighten me ??
Asif Khan | 13 years ago | Reply I think news was quite old and the deal has been established in General Pervaz Kayani trip to China and President has more cemented this deal in his trip. Thats good. Secondly Dear Shahjan sb please be positive and look thinks from broader aspect not with only narrow side of the act. Please think from country aspect and come out of my city and his city kind of thinking and discussion. In last, this consent of people approach has destroyed the whole dam construction agenda and we whole country is facing its consequences now. If you have eye on whole spectrum please read news what is happening in Sindh and Punjab on water crisis.
