A complaint centre for women has been set up in Quetta. The centre has been established with an all-female staff to facilitate complainants to register their case without hesitation.

The staff at the women reporting centre works in two shifts, with one in-charge and four lady constables present round the clock.

Assistant Superintendent Sobia Khan, heading the complaint cell, hopes that the centre will be the first step in providing relief to the women of Quetta.

Four lady constables have also been trained to ride a motorbike so that they can patrol sensitive areas and provide help to women at their doorstep.
