Education Grant: PEF to raise monthly grant by Rs50

MUZAFFARGARH: The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) is considering raising the monthly grant for each student at its partner schools from Rs 350 to Rs400.  A PEF spokesman said on Monday officials were considering the financial and technical aspects of the proposal. He said the decision had been conveyed to the partner schools. The spokesman said the PEF currently gave Rs350 per month to each student at the partner schools and that the proposal to increase the grant amount was taken by PEF chairman Raja Mohammad Anwar after district-level coordination meetings in Multan and Bahawalpur.
