Faith, reflection and a journey fulfilled

Actor Tuba Anwar has shared an emotionally charged reflection from Makkah as she prepares for Hajj, describing an overwhelming mix of gratitude and spiritual awe, while coming to terms with a long-prayed journey now unfolding.
She admitted she has been feeling emotional and unsettled, questioning how someone with flaws, shortcomings and mistakes could be considered worthy of such an honour, yet repeatedly returning to the belief that divine wisdom extends beyond human understanding.
She wrote that Allah sees what humans cannot, adding that His plans are far greater than comprehension, a thought that has helped her make sense of the deeply personal spiritual experience.
She described the moment as surreal, saying she is still trying to process that the journey she once prayed and dreamed for has finally arrived in her life today spiritually and emotionally.
"I Am Here! In Makkah!" Tuba wrote, emotionally expressing wonder and gratitude at reaching the holy city she had long envisioned for this spiritual journey of Hajj now unfolding before her. She is preparing for Hajj alongside the people closest to her, describing the experience as one shared in faith, love and deep personal connection at this sacred time in Makkah.
She also requested followers to remember her in their prayers as she prepares for Hajj, asking for ease, strength and acceptance for all pilgrims across the world completing this journey. She prayed for all pilgrims to be granted forgiveness, for their Hajj to be made easy, and for every heart to return softer, lighter and closer to faith upon completion.
She ended her message with gratitude, writing "Allah ka shukar, always," reaffirming her sense of thankfulness at being able to experience the spiritual milestone of her journey in Makkah at this time sharing heartfelt gratitude with followers online and supporters.
