Is Euphoria ending after season 3 here’s what episode 7 reveals

Euphoria Season 3 nears finale with Episode 7 and 8 release dates confirmed on HBO and HBO Max weekly schedule update

HBO’s Euphoria Season 3 is approaching its final stretch, with only two episodes left as the series moves toward its scheduled conclusion on HBO and HBO Max.

Episode 7 aired on May 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, continuing the increasingly tense narrative surrounding Rue, played by Zendaya, as she navigates a dangerous path involving crime figure Alamo Brown. The episode further escalates the stakes ahead of the season finale set for May 31.

The current season takes place five years after Season 2 and follows major character developments across its ensemble cast. Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, attempts to build a career in entertainment while dealing with mounting personal and financial challenges tied to Nate Jacobs, portrayed by Jacob Elordi. Meanwhile, Maddy, played by Alexa Demie, becomes more deeply involved in Alamo’s expanding operations, shifting alliances within the show’s central storyline.

According to HBO, Season 3 consists of eight episodes released weekly on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on both HBO and HBO Max. With Episode 7 now available, viewers are awaiting the final installment, which will conclude the season’s primary arcs.

The series continues to explore themes of morality, redemption and consequence, as outlined in its official synopsis. However, critical reception this season has been mixed, with reviewers noting a shift in tone compared to earlier installments.

HBO has not confirmed whether Euphoria will return for a fourth season. Creator Sam Levinson has previously suggested that Season 3 may serve as a natural endpoint for the series, depending on how the story concludes.
