Love Island star Huda Mustafa has launched her music career with the release of her debut single "Bad Girls", although the accompanying music video has drawn mixed reactions online.

The 25-year-old reality television personality released the video on Friday, featuring a series of surreal office-themed visuals.

Scenes include Mustafa crawling across a boardroom table, dancing on a receptionist desk and sitting among dismantled computers before the clip ends in a chaotic sequence involving sparks, flying papers and a woman carrying a sword.

The music video’s dramatic imagery contrasted with the slower R&B sound of the track, which some viewers criticised on social media shortly after its release.

“we have to stop letting everyone think they can be a singer cause what is this,” one user wrote on X.

Another commented: “She looks so lazy. Like she doesn’t even wanna be doing it. It reminds me of Kim Zolciak doing the least while performing.”

A third added: “What is she even saying ... we went from mumble rap to mumble singing.”

Despite the criticism, some users defended the song and video while others continued to reference Mustafa’s past controversy involving accusations that she laughed after a fan used a racial slur directed at former co-star Olandria Carthen during a livestream in 2025.

Following backlash at the time, Mustafa apologised, stating, “I apologize for my immediate reaction. My reaction in that moment came from being caught off guard, not from finding the word or situation funny.”

The controversy reportedly led to Mustafa losing her partnership with Huda Beauty.
