After nearly a decade of public legal battles and family turmoil, Brad Pitt is reportedly no longer interested in getting married again. Multiple outlets reported on May 23 that the Oscar winning actor feels content in his current relationship with jewellery designer Ines de Ramon, but has little desire to revisit marriage following his difficult split from Angelina Jolie.
Pitt, 62, and de Ramon, 33, have been linked since 2022 and have gradually become more public with their relationship over the past two years. The pair recently appeared together at promotional events connected to Pitt’s upcoming racing film F1: The Movie, fuelling renewed interest in their future as a couple. Despite the stable relationship, insiders told that marriage is reportedly “off the table” for the actor.
One source claimed Pitt is “very happy” with de Ramon and appreciates the calmness and support she brings into his life. However, the insider added that there is “no rush” toward marriage and suggested Pitt’s painful experience with Jolie permanently changed his outlook on long term commitment.
Pitt and Jolie famously began their relationship after filming Mr and Mrs Smith in the mid 2000s before marrying in 2014. Their split in 2016 quickly became one of Hollywood’s most closely watched divorces. Court disputes surrounding custody arrangements, financial matters and the ownership of Château Miraval continued for years before reports emerged in 2024 that the divorce proceedings had finally been settled.
The situation involving the former couple’s six children has reportedly remained especially difficult for Pitt. Recent reports claimed several of the children have become estranged from the actor in recent years. During Zahara’s graduation ceremony from Spelman College earlier this month, she reportedly used the surname Jolie rather than Jolie Pitt while receiving her diploma.
Sources speaking to different outlets offered conflicting interpretations of the family situation. One insider alleged there had been a campaign of alienation against Pitt, while another source argued the actor had opportunities to maintain stronger contact with his children over the years.
Neither Pitt nor Jolie publicly commented on the latest claims regarding their family relationship. Representatives for both stars reportedly did not immediately respond to media requests for comment.
Meanwhile, Pitt appears focused on work and maintaining a quieter personal life. Alongside F1: The Movie, the actor continues producing projects through his Plan B company while avoiding extensive public discussion about his divorce or family matters.
De Ramon has also largely stayed out of the spotlight despite growing media attention surrounding the relationship. Friends reportedly believe the lower profile dynamic suits Pitt at this stage of his life following years of intense scrutiny around his previous marriage.
Although speculation about another Hollywood wedding continues to follow the actor, current reports suggest Pitt is more interested in stability and privacy than another walk down the aisle.
