KARACHI:

The Sindh government reduced Eidul Azha holidays to three days, issuing a revised notification on Sunday confirming that public holidays would now be observed from May 26 to 28 across the province.

Notification in this regard stated, “the Government of Sindh hereby declares May 26, 27, and 28 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) as public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Azha."

It added that the holidays would apply to all government, semi-government, and municipal institutions across the province. However, employees of essential services, as well as staff engaged in budget preparation, would remain exempt from the holiday schedule.

The notification further said that “work from home shall be observed on May 29 Friday, for relevant government departments."
