Representation: Special assembly seats demanded
The tribal elders of Para-Chamkani demanded the allocation of special seats in the K-P Assembly to address their problems.
The demand was made on Monday during a peace jirga presided over by the Para-Chamkani tribe chieftain. The chief of one of the three major tribes, Malik Nasrullah Khan, said there was no harm if Fata and K-P were merged. However, he said, any such merge should be done after consultation with all stakeholders, including tribesmen.
