New Management: Trade associatio:ns elect office-bearers

FAISALABAD: The industrial hub’s business community on Saturday elected new office bearers who vowed to fight out with the government for the rights of the exporters. Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PHMEA) and Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) elected their new representatives. Twelve new executive members of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industries were also elected. Usman Enterprises Private Limited Chief Executive Officer Usman Jawaad was elected Chairman and Image Garments Limited Faisalabad CEO Qamar Aftab was elected as Vice Chairman of PHMEA. Rana Arif Tauseef of Rana Textile Mills was elected Chairman while Shahzad Sidddique of Shahzad Siddique Private Limited Faisalabad was elected as Vice Chairman of PTEA for the term 2011-12.
