New details have emerged regarding the sudden death of actress Michelle Trachtenberg.
According to TMZ, Trachtenberg’s mother, Lana, tragically discovered Michelle's body in bed on Wednesday morning in her Manhattan apartment, just months after Michelle's liver transplant.
Law enforcement sources revealed that Lana found Michelle unresponsive and called authorities, but paramedics pronounced Michelle dead at the scene.
Lana last saw Michelle alive at 10 PM on Tuesday, and she appeared to be in good spirits despite ongoing health challenges. Michelle, known for her role in ‘Gossip Girl’, had been out with friends just days earlier.
Sources confirmed that Michelle had recently undergone a liver transplant, which led to complications with her liver and thyroid. TMZ previously reported that the body may have rejected the transplant, potentially contributing to her death.
Michelle had defended her frail appearance in recent months, stating she was “happy and healthy.” Her family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
