Seminary teachers held for 'raping 3 students'

Wah Cantt police have arrested three teachers of a religious seminary for allegedly raping three minor students. The arrested accused were identified as Ali Akbar, Sameer and Siddiqui.

The affected minors were medically examined at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Taxila. The Saddar Wah police Station registered a case under section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) following the outcome of the initial medical reports and began a detailed investigation.

According to the complainant N Akhtar, her nine-year-old and 13-year-old sons and an 11-year-old nephew were studying in the madrassah.

They complained at different times earlier that the teachers were abusing them. The complainant initially didn't believe but took their matter seriously when her sons complained again.

Upon seeking further details, one of the victims told his mother that a teacher had raped him on Thursday. Similarly, the second son complained that he was sexually assaulted by another teacher on Friday.

Her nephew narrated the same ordeal alleging he was assaulted by three teachers at different time intervals of the day. The complainant said that she initially remained silent due to shame, but then decided to seek justice.
