Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment, the stars of the iconic horror film "The Sixth Sense," have revealed the heartwarming bond they formed after filming the movie.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Osment shared that Willis would frequently leave voicemails for him in the years following the film's release. The actor recalled coming home from school to find Willis' messages on the answering machine, expressing his well-wishes and excitement for the film's success.

"I heard from [Bruce] a lot after it came out in those subsequent years," Osment said. "He'd leave voicemails at the house from time to time, just checking in."

Osment also mentioned that he and Willis traveled to Japan together to promote "The Sixth Sense" in different cities. The two actors maintained their friendship for years, with Osment fondly remembering their time together.

"I need to find those old answering tapes," he added. "I know we preserved those. I know his daughters a little bit, but I have not spoken to him since the news of his health in recent years."

Unfortunately, Osment hasn't been able to reconnect with Willis since the actor's public announcement of his aphasia diagnosis in 2022. Despite the distance, Osment remains grateful for his experience working with Willis on "The Sixth Sense."

The heartwarming story of Willis and Osment's friendship highlights the lasting impact of the iconic film and the enduring bonds formed between its cast members.
