Faisal Amin Gandapur, brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has filed a defamation lawsuit against the province's governor Faisal Karim Kundi in a session court following corruption allegations levelled against the provincial government.

Express News reported that Faisal Amin Gandapur is seeking Rs 500 million in damages and has included a private TV channel and its anchor as parties to the case.

The application states that Governor Faisal Karim Kundi made 'false allegations' on a TV show. It added that Ali Amin Gandapur is the Chief Minister and that the governor had damaged his reputation.

The private channel and its anchor also failed to address Ali Amin's position.

They are demanding an apology on behalf of K-P Chief Minister and Rs 500 million in compensation for the damage to his 'honour and reputation.'
