Kate Winslet has revealed that her 10-year-old son, Bear, became very emotional while watching Titanic for the first time. Speaking to E! News at the New York City premiere of her new film Lee on Sept. 25, Winslet shared that Bear, who she shares with husband Edward Abel Smith, struggled to watch his mother’s iconic role as Rose in the 1997 blockbuster. "He cried a lot, and he kept having to pause it, and he was very upset," Winslet said about Bear’s reaction.

Winslet, 48, is also the mother of two older children, daughter Mia, 23, and son Joe, 20. While Bear recently watched Titanic, Winslet mentioned that her older children have enjoyed other films from her career. "My older two, who are nearly 24 and 21, they love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," she said, calling the film "a big favorite" for her older children. However, Winslet admitted to being slightly disappointed when they watched the movie without her, saying, "I always thought I would want to watch it with my kids one day. But they beat me to it."

Winslet has recently worked alongside her children, with Mia and Joe co-starring with her in the British television series I Am Ruth. In a previous interview with Net-a-Porter, she praised their acting abilities, saying, "Luckily, they're good."

Lee premieres in theaters on Friday, Sept. 27.
