The highly anticipated film Sinners, directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan, has finally revealed its first trailer ahead of its March 7, 2025, release by Warner Bros. The film, based on an original script by Coogler, is set in the 1930s Jim Crow-era South and was filmed in New Orleans earlier this year. The project has remained largely under wraps since its announcement in January, generating excitement among film fans.

Jordan, who has collaborated with Coogler in all five of their previous films, teased the project on social media by sharing a poster featuring himself in two different costumes, hinting at a dual role as twins. His post included the caption, “Dance with the devil…and he’ll follow you home.” The impressive cast includes Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell, and Hailee Steinfeld, alongside Omar Benson Miller, Wunmi Mosaku, and others.

Coogler, known for his work on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed Sinners as his first film since 2022. He produced the movie through his Proximity Media banner, alongside Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. The film's executive producers include Ludwig Göransson and Rebecca Cho.

The film's release comes after a competitive bidding war among studios, ultimately secured by Warner Bros., reuniting them with Coogler and Jordan after their success with Creed III. The project promises to deliver a fresh take on horror, and early visuals suggest a thrilling experience for audiences.
