Amid Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent legal troubles, Meek Mill has stepped forward to distance himself from the swirling allegations tying him to the embattled music mogul.

With Diddy facing federal charges for sex trafficking, racketeering, and other serious offenses, Meek took to X (formerly Twitter) on September 23 to offer a $100,000 reward for an investigative team to uncover how his name became linked to Diddy’s case.

The accusations stem from recent revelations that Diddy allegedly confided to a former employee, Rodney Jones, that he had a physical relationship with a "Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj."

This led social media users to speculate that Meek, who famously dated Nicki Minaj between 2015 and 2017, was the rapper in question.

In a lawsuit against Diddy filed by Jones, the former employee also alleged that Diddy had relationships with other prominent figures in the entertainment industry. However, Meek has firmly denied any involvement.

Meek’s frustration with the media’s portrayal of him became evident in his subsequent posts, where he voiced concerns over how the narrative is being shaped.

"The streets know wassup with me, that’s not the case,” he insisted. "We talking about the business side. Somebody powering these bad campaigns with Meek Mill again. I got 100K for a thorough investigation of who's powering and how exactly my name got connected to this."

This isn’t the first time Meek Mill has addressed rumors of his association with Diddy. Earlier in the year, he was forced to respond to similar allegations after a string of tweets fueled speculation that the two had a closer-than-usual relationship.

At the time, Meek had to debunk false claims that circulated widely on social media. He’s since emphasized that his connection to Diddy was purely business, pointing to their shared presence at industry events.

In response to these persistent rumors, Meek has also accused blogs and media outlets of enhancing posts and spreading misinformation. He vented his frustrations about the role of media in perpetuating negative narratives.

"Fake (expletive) publications ran stories," he wrote. "I got like a 100m followers worldwide. I’m not letting media override my voice! It’s kids watching me from Africa … UK … etc.”
