Rapper Macklemore chanted anti-America slogans on stage on Saturday as he performed at a charity festival in Seattle aimed to benefit Palestinian refugees, reported TMZ.

In a video of his performance shared on X, the Grammy-winning rapper, referencing chants from the crowd, can be seeing encouraging his fans with the words, "Straight up, say it. I'm not gonna stop you. I'm not gonna stop you."

Macklemore, a Seattle native, had advertised the Palestine Will Live Forever Festival on his Instagram page and penned, "Honoured to share the stage with some amazing Palestinian artists, speakers and others who have used their voices in solidarity this Saturday. All funds raised will be split between Pious Projects, HEAL Palestine, UNRWA, Palestine Children's Relief Fund, and grassroots mutual aid. It's going to be a beautiful and powerful day."

Meanwhile on Friday, Macklemore dropped his latest single, Hind's Hall 2, across all platforms, a sequel to his Palestinian anthem Hind's Hall, which was released in May.

As per Macklemore's Instagram handle, Hind's Hall 2 is produced by written and performed by Arab-American singer Anees Mokhiber, Palestinian rapper MC Abdul, Palestinian-American author and comedian Amer Zahr, and of course, Macklemore himself.

Starting with the haunting line "In our lifetime we will be free", Hinds Hall 2 relates the ongoing oppression faced by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip at the hands of Israeli forces. With the different artists pitching in with their verses, the track trails off as the choir sings the chorus in Arabic, guaranteed to elicit a tear in those who have been following the ongoing genocide in the region. Macklemore revealed on his Instagram that as with Hinds Hall, all proceeds from Hinds Hall 2 will go towards UNRWA.

"Thank you for being an important part of our mission and for showing Palestine refugees that Americans care," penned a fan in the comments section.
