Lady Gaga surprises fans at ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ screenings, throws popcorn into crowd

Lady Gaga made a memorable appearance at the first press screenings for Joker: Folie à Deux, where she surprised fans by throwing popcorn into the crowd and saying, "Enjoy the f*cking movie."

The star attended several screenings as part of the press junket, where she interacted with moviegoers, participated in Q&A sessions, and handed out snacks.

Gaga had hinted at her involvement in the screenings earlier, posting cryptic messages on Instagram such as "I'm ready for my interview" and "Don't tell me what to wear." During one of the screenings, she spoke about her character, Lee, saying: "I would do anything for love, and she would too."

Reflecting on her personal journey, Gaga discussed how the "art of darkness" played a significant role in shaping both her character in the film and her overall artistic pursuits: "Darkness healed me." This theme has not only influenced her work in Joker but also in fashion and music.

Lady Gaga is set to continue promoting the film at the upcoming premieres in London on September 27 and Los Angeles on September 30.
