Kapil Sharma’s 'Khushi' tease leaves Vedang Raina in splits

Earlier Khushi Kapoor was also confronted about dating rumours with Vedang on Koffee With Karan.

Rumours about Bollywood actors Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina dating have circulated since their appearance together in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

While neither has confirmed nor denied the speculations, they are often spotted together on holidays and special occasions, fueling ongoing chatter.

Vedang Raina appeared on the show alongside Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar to promote their upcoming film Jigra.

During the segment, Kapil Sharma playfully teased Vedang, asking, "Are you happy working with Alia or sad that you’re playing her brother?" Vedang humorously responded, “Khushi hai obviously (I am happy).” Karan Johar joined in the banter, quipping, “Khushi hai!” This light-hearted exchange, referencing Khushi Kapoor, left the audience in splits.

Earlier this year, Khushi Kapoor was also confronted about her dating rumours with Vedang during an appearance on Koffee With Karan.

When Karan Johar mentioned the conjecture about her relationship, Khushi cleverly responded, “You know that scene in Om Shanti Om where everyone says, ‘Om and I were just good friends’?”

However, Vedang, in an interview with GQ in August, clarified that his dating life is currently taking a back seat as he focuses on his career.

He stated, “I’m clear about my priorities and want to keep these two aspects of my life separate. Dating won’t necessarily hinder me, but it can become a major part of your life, so I’m staying mindful of that.”

Vedang Raina is set to feature in Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, with Alia Bhatt in the lead role, co-produced by Karan Johar.

The playful teasing, coupled with their responses, has added more fuel to the ongoing speculation, even as both actors continue to focus on their respective careers.
