Travis Scott’s mixtape Days Before Rodeo has officially reached the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart this week, moving 156,000 units. The project, originally released in 2014 as a free mixtape, recently became available on streaming platforms and has seen a resurgence in popularity. Billboard confirmed the sales figures on Monday, noting the impressive achievement for a mixtape that initially debuted nearly a decade ago.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, including album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Scott’s Days Before Rodeo benefited from strong streaming numbers, with a significant portion of its units coming from on-demand streams.

Scott, who has remained a dominant figure in the hip-hop industry, has previously topped the chart with his studio albums Astroworld and Utopia. Speaking to his fan base, Scott expressed his gratitude on social media: “This project meant a lot to me, and seeing it still resonate with you guys is a blessing. We just getting started.”

With this achievement, Travis Scott continues to solidify his presence in the music industry, adding to his growing list of chart-topping projects.
