The dynamic Lahore-based duo Hassan & Roshaan are gearing up to drop their highly anticipated EP, titled INTERMISSION, on September 27. This upcoming release marks an exciting new chapter in their creative odyssey and promises to captivate fans with its fresh, innovative sound.

The announcement was made on Instagram in a post featuring the EP cover as well as the tracklist. "The EP allegations are real… We are super thrilled to kickstart a new season of H&R songs with our 3-track EP INTERMISSION," read the caption. "Stay tuned, we've got many more new songs in store for you!"

The cover depicts the duo sipping on tea and reading the newspaper on the road, with the record's name carved in white chalk. INTERMISSION is set to feature three distinct tracks that showcase the duo's evolving musical style and artistry: Aag, Jhooti Baatein, and Hota Hai Kia? As per the name, the EP is a deliberate pause, or "intermission," in their continuous journey of musical exploration. Fans can expect a blend of introspective lyrics and captivating melodies, reflecting the duo's growth and artistic vision.

The duo's story started with their debut album, Chaar Dinon Ka Khwaab, which showcased their mutual respect and admiration for each other's musical prowess. Initially experimenting with various aliases, they eventually settled on the straightforward yet powerful name, Hassan & Roshaan. This choice, simple but evocative, mirrors their unique ability to blend their contrasting musical styles into a cohesive sound.

By November 2023, Hassan & Roshaan had achieved remarkable success. Their second album, Day 5, has been well-received with its track, Sukoon, a collaboration with Shae Gill, getting featured in the popular series Ms Marvel. Praised for its soothing tones and heartfelt lyrics, the song has since surpassed 19 million streams on Spotify.
